Homemade Honey Mustard
-2/3 cups of Vegan Mayonnaise
-1/3 cup of Mustard
-1/3 cup of Honey
-Pinch of black pepper
(Optional):
-2 tsp of curry
-2 tsp powdered mustard
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and combine with a whisk.

In our home, tomato products (nightshades) are not an option for our kids with Lyme and ADHD. This has been a great replacement for any occasion where ketchup might be used. Teach them young and they really don’t notice! My Lyme hero uses it on chicken strips, turkey burgers, even sausages. Homemade will spoil you since it is so easy to make and tastes so much better than the fake sugar-enhanced store bought brands (and it’s cheaper). If you are histamine sensitive, avoid the curry.
We use vegan mayonnaise due to our Lyme hero who has multiple food allergies including eggs.
